Skye Camanachd Duo Head Off With Scotland U17 Squad | |
22 July 2012 Skye Camanachd duo Jordan Murchison and Shaun Hedley will travel with the Scotland U17 squad for their Scottish Hydro Ireland Tour. The pair have been Skye Camanachd first team regulars this season, turning in several impressive performances. This is a second selection at the level for Jordan Murchison who was part of the 2011 Ireland Tour. The Scotland squad travel to Ireland on Sunday 22 July 2012 and they play Westmeath U17 on Monday 23 July 2012 whilst the big match against Dublin U17 is the following day. The players then return home on Wednesday 25 July 2012. The tour has been taking place for over twenty years and sees the elite shinty players from the previous year’s Scottish Hydro National Player Development Camp make up the squad.
