Shaun Hedley has been named the 2009 Skye Camanachd U14 A team Player of the Year.

Alba, the Gaelic shinty team, have revealed their strips for Iomain Cholmcille which is played for the first time at Pairc ann Laoch in Portree.

Euan Forrest has been named the 2009 Skye Camanachd U14 B team Player of the Year.

Angie Grant has been named the 2009 Skye Camanachd U14 B team Most Improved Player of the Year.

The numbers drawn on Saturday 6 February 2010 were 4, 8 and 20 and there were no winners.

North Skye won the Ewen Morrison Memorial Cup with a 4-2 win over South Skye at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 6 February 2010.

Marine Harvest North Division 3 side Lochaber came out on top against Kilmallie, who are a league above them, in their friendly math at Canal Parks on Saturday 6 February 2010.

In October 2008, the Alba squad travelled to Inverin in the County of Galway for Iomain Cholmcille 2008.  In 2007 the Scottish Gaels had gone down 12 (3-3) to 7 (2-1) against Micheal Breathnach GAA in Oban at Feill Chaluim Chille and this was their opportunity to take the handsome Cuach Cholmcille back to Scotland.

Alasdair “Gaiter” MacKenzie continues in charge of the Lochcarron first team for the 2010 shinty season.

The Ewen Morrison Memorial Cup has passed a pitch inspection and will definitely go ahead on Saturday 6 February 2010.

There are several friendlies taking place on Saturday 6 February 2010.

Bernisdale won the Ewen Morrison Memorial Cup for the first time following the annual inter Island competition.

Ewen Morrison owned his own transport business and provided transport for Skye Camanachd for much of the 1970s. He provided a bus and drove the team to away matches all over Scotland. Indeed during one particularly lean financial period for the club, he refused to submit a single invoice for 3 years.

Skye Camanachd U17 proved too strong for Beauly U17 and they clinched the WJ Cameron League with a 9-1 win over Beauly at Lochcarron.

The Skye Camanachd website enjoyed a record month during January 2010.

Skye Camanachd U17 and Kingussie U17 met in what was to prove to be tousy semi final battle at Invergarry.
