An Ian MacPherson goal meant North Skye won the 2012 Ewen Morrison Memorial Cup with a 3-2 win over South Skye at the Portree High School All-Weather pitch on Saturday 4 February 2012.
The match was switched from Pairc nan Laoch following the heavy rain on Saturday morning and the sides delivered a competitive 10-A-Side encounter for the spectators.
North Skye took a two goal lead thanks to a double from Ally MacDonald.
South Skye got back in the game when referee Donnie Martin awarded them a penalty and Shockie MacLennan made no mistake from the spot.
A strike from Gibbs MacDonald squared the game at 2-2 and the match could have swung either way.
North Skye substitute Ian MacPherson went close to putting his side ahead but the ball was scrambled clear.
However North captain MacPherson was not to be denied and he exchanged passes with Allan MacKinnon before slotting the ball past Aonghas MacDonald in the South goal to make it 3-2 and win the trophy.
