Skye Camanachd took part in the Remembrance Parade in Portree on Sunday 8 November 2015.
Skye Camanachd joined a number of other Services and organisations who remembered those who were killed in conflicts. The club was represented by Vice-Chairman Neil Montgomery, Committee members Douglas MacDougall and Ross Cowie, first team manager John MacLeod, first team player Iain Murray, second team captain David MacInnes, Ladies player Emma Gordon and youth players Connor Gilpin and Martin Pringle. Second team manager Davie Pringle was part of the Portree Fire Brigade representation.
There was a two minutes silence at 11am after which Skye player Emma Gordon placed a wreath on behalf of the club at the War Memorial in Portree Square as did Skye second team player James Pringle in his capacity as Portree High School Head Boy.
Parade Commander Thomas Wilson was a Lance Corporal with the 1st Battalion. The Parachute Regiment. He also plays shinty for the Skye Camanachd second team.
Other Skye Camanachd members attended Remembrance Parades throughout the Island and beyond.
