Skye Camanachd were named Club of the Year at the 2014 Annual Marine Harvest Shinty Awards which took place in the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness on Friday 17 October 2014.
After a disappointing 2013 season, the Skye first team bounced back to win Marine Harvest North Division 1 and the Balliemore Cup. They also reached the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup semi-finals as well as the final of the inaugural RBS MacTavish Plate competition where they eventually lost out to Fort William.
The Skye Camanachd second team reached the Strathdearn Cup Final where they lost out to Newtonmore with Skye U17 getting to the London Shield semi-finals where they were beaten by Kingussie U17. Skye Camanachd U14 also had a successful year, winning Marine Harvest North Division 1 and they were MacMaster Cup runner-up.
The Skye first team still have a major prize in their sights as they take on Ballachulish in the Marine Harvest National Division play-off at Blairbeg on Saturday 1 November 2014.
