30 October 2013 The provisional throw in times have been set for the Shinty / Hurling / Camogie internationals on Saturday 2 November 2013. Shinty / Camogie - Scotland v Dublin County The opening match will be the game between the Scotland Womens team and the Dublin County Junior side. This will be a tough test for Stuart Reid’s Scotland side as they face a Dublin squad who were crowned All-Ireland Junior champions in August 2013. Stuart Reid has no injury concerns and a full squad to choose from. Throw in is at 10.30am on the Bught Park but there is a possibility that the game could be moved to the outside pitch if the weather deteriorates. Evan MacRae is the match referee. Marine Harvest U21 International – Scotland U21 v Ireland U21 Scotland U21 Head Coach Ronald Ross has just one injury concern ahead of the meeting with Ireland U21. Newtonmore’s Drew MacDonald picked up a knee injury playing for his club side ten days ago but Ross is hopeful that he will make it. Scotland U21 captain Greg Matheson suffered an ankle injury in his last outing for Lovat but he trained last weekend so he will be fine. Throw in is currently scheduled for 12 noon on the Bught Park. Eamonn Hassan, who refereed the senior international between the two countries last weekend, is the man in the middle. Marine Harvest Senior International – Scotland v Ireland The Scots trail 3-1 after Irelands 24-18 win in the first test at Croke Park last weekend. Scotland Head Coach Drew McNeil saw James Hutchison (dead leg) and Glen MacKintosh (leg knock) pick up injuries. Whilst McNeil is hopeful that both will make the second test, he has players of the calibre of Kinlochshiel’s Mark MacDonald and John MacDonald from Ballachulish on his stand-by list. Liam MacDonald also took a knock but he will be fine to play. Throw in is at 2pm and Deek Cameron is the match referee. The whole match will be shown live on BBC2 Scotland.
