25 August 2015 Skye Camanachd U14 beat Kingussie U14 9-0 in their opening Marine Harvest North Division 1 match at the Dell on Friday 21 August 2015. Skye Camanachd Youth Coach John MacLeod named the same squad that knocked Kinlochshiel out of the MacMaster Cup earlier in the week. MacLeod was unable to make the trip as he was working so Davie Pringle and Willie MacDonald looked after the squad. Skye raced into an early lead in this 6.30pm throw up. Mark MacQueen made it 1-0 after just 5 minutes whilst Ruairidh MacLeod added a second a couple of minutes later. Ruairidh MacLeod got his second on 11 minutes and Dan MacDonald made it 4-0 just 5 minutes later. Mark MacQueen got his second to make it 5-0 on 19 minutes. Skye added three more goals before the break. Ruairidh MacLeod completed his hat-trick on 29 minutes and Calum Robertson on 33 minutes and Abby MacLean a couple of minutes later made it 8-0 at half-time. Ruairidh MacLeod grabbed his fourth goal of the evening on 49 minutes to make it 9-0. Skye made positional changes during the second period and they will be pleased to return from what is always a difficult encounter with both points. Next up for Skye is a MacMaster Cup semi-final tie against Oban Camanachd U14 at Craigard on Friday 28 August 2015. Throw up is at 6.45pm.
