28 April 2015 The Skye Camanachd second team suffered their first defeat of the season as they went down 2-0 to Kilmallie in their Marine Harvest North Division 2 meeting at the Canal Parks on Saturday 25 April 2015. Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie Pringle made seven changes to the squad which beat Caberfeidh 3-1 in the league at Castle Leod last weekend. Captain David MacInnes and Stewart Grant were all called up to the Skye first team. Jamie Gannon and John Angus MacInnes were unavailable whilst youngsters Connor Gilpin and Martin Pringle dropped out of the squad as they will be in action for Skye Camanachd U14 the previous evening. Marcus Ross was a late call-off. Kyle Pirie, Aonghas MacDonald, John MacKenzie, Calum Gibb, Andrew Banks, DJ Gilpin and late addition Neil John Campbell all return to the squad for this 3pm throw up. Ross MacKenzie gave Kilmallie the first half advantage with a goal after 29 minutes and the home side took the 1-0 lead into the break. Donald MacRae sealed the win when he made it 2-0 on 57 minutes to inflict Skye’s their first defeat of the season.
