11 February 2013 Skye Camanachd will play Newtonmore for the George Michie Memorial Cup at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 16 February 2013. Newtonmore manager Paul John MacKintosh will send a strong squad to Skye in what will be his first match in charge since taking over from Norman MacArthur. Scotland U21 international captain Rory Kennedy will feature in defence with talisman Danny MacRae, who scored twice when ‘More were 4-0 winners when the sides met for this trophy last season, sure to lead the attack. Skye manager Willie MacRae will hope to have Chris Rose, Iain Nicolson and Shaun Hedley back after they missed the defeat to Fort William last weekend. He will also hope that Steven Morrison has recovered from an injury which forced him off early in that game. Throw up is at 1.30pm. |
