Davie Pringle was awarded the Angus Murchison Cup at the Skye Camanachd Annual Dinner at the Skye Camanachd Clubhouse on Saturday 22 November 2014.

The Angus Murchison Memorial Cup is awarded to the person who the Skye Camanachd Committee judge to have done most for Skye Camanachd during the year.

Davie Pringle has made a huge contribution to Skye Camanachd’s successful 2014 shinty season. He is part of Skye Camanachd first team manager John MacLeod’s management team and he has led the club’s training sessions since December 2013. He is also in charge of the club’s U17 side and he runs Skye Camanachd’s 100 Club. He was also the chief organiser of the recent Bonfire & Fireworks night which was one of the club’s top fund raisers.

This is a richly deserved award and the Angus Murchison Cup was presented to Davie Pringle by Skye Camanachd committee member Davie MacVicar.
