The 2012 shinty fixture list will be released following next weekend's Camanachd Association General Meeting.

Plans for the 2012 fixtures are at an advanced stage and the final fixture list will be issued to clubs during the week commencing 6 February 2012.

Some issues are still to be decided including Strathspey Camanachd's application to join the league. A decision is also due on whether a third fixture - three home and three away - should take place in the seven team Marine Harvest North Division 1. There has also been a late suggestion that the third fixtures could take place at a neutral venue.

The 2012 shinty season starts on Saturday 3 March 2012.
