Portree High School finished runners up in the Homecoming Secondary Schools Shinty Tournament at Oban High School onTuesday 22 November 2011. 

There was a strong line up for the tournament with Portree High School joined by Dingwall Academy, Lochaber High School and Oban High School amongst others.

The Skye youngsters won three matches and drew three in the round-robin competition.

However they eventually finished second to winners Oban High School despite not losing a single game or a single goal throughout the entire tournament.
