Skye Camanachd Boss MacVicar Delighted With Makeshift Team. | |
17 August 2010 Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie MacVicar was delighted with his makeshift team’s performance following their 4-1 win over Kilmallie at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree in Marine Harvest North Division 2 on Saturday 14 August 2010. “I’m delighted with the win and the performance,” said MacVicar. “When you consider that at lunchtime, I was concerned that I would even be able to field 12 players following a couple of late call-offs, it’s a great result. We even had to call up an injured Martin Bruce up just half an hour before throw up to be on the bench.” On his team’s performance, the manager said, “I was really pleased with the 4 goal tally. I also thought Scott MacLeod, who came on as a second half substitute, was commanding in the wing back position.” The Skye seconds now have a 3 week break before they play their final 2 games against Lovat and Kingussie. |
