| MacVicar Rues A Lack Of Experience. | |
| 10 May 2010 Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie MacVicar was left ruing a lack of experience in his side following their 6-2 defeat to Fort William in Marine Harvest North Division 2 at An Aird on Saturday 8 May 2010.
“We just lack that bit of experience which would help the younger players,” said MacVicar. “Fort William were able to take 2008 Camanachd Cup winning captain Chris Bamber into their side and that’s a big bonus for them.”
“We had 6 of our current U17 side in the team and the games are all good experience for them. However a couple of older heads could make all the difference to our results at the moment. Fort William in comparison only had 3 of their youth side.”
It doesn’t get any easier for Skye as they head to the Eilan to play Newtonmore in Marine Harvest North Division 2 on Saturday 15 May 2010. | |
