The Camanachd Association and their Irish counter-parts are in talks over making the 2010 shinty / hurling international a home & away event.

A home and away series would raise the profile of the game in both countries and would be seen as an ambitious step.

This year’s match is due to be played in Ireland and has been scheduled in the Camanachd Association fixture list for Saturday 30 October 2010 at Croke Park, Dublin.

However a second date has been provisionally set for 2 weeks later on Saturday 13 October 2010 at Bught Park, Inverness should the return fixture become a reality.

A combination of scores from the 2 matches would determine the series winners.
