Skye Camanachd duo Alan Palmer and Jamie MacDonald have been selected for the 2010 Scottish University Shinty International Squad.

Palmer and MacDonald were selected following the University North v South trials and he will represent the Scottish Universities against the British Universities Hurling All-Star Squad. Palmer is the team vice captain.

The match takes place on Saturday 30 January 2010 and after being hosted in England last year, the 2010 clash will be played at the Balgownie Playing Fields in Aberdeen.

The Scottish players will meet at the Jury’s Inn, Aberdeen on Saturday 30 January 2010 before heading for the game.
