| 28 September 2009 Skye Camanachd goalkeeper Jamie Gannon has been selected for the Scotland Senior Shinty / Hurling international squad to play Scotland Head Coach Fraser MacKenzie and his assistants Drew MacNeil, Kenny Ross and Charles Young have selected the Skye keeper who has been in sparkling form over the last couple of seasons. Gannon was a major player in Skye’s 2008 Balliemore Cup success and he has turned in some great displays this season as the Islanders seek a place in the Scottish Hydro National Premier Division.
