15 May 2009 The three Camanachd Cup ties which fell foul of the weather last weekend are rescheduled for Saturday 16 May 2009. The tie of the Camanachd Cup second round is Newtonmore’s trip to Tigh na Bruach to play Kyles Athletic. A last minute goal from Tom Whyte earned Kyles a two each draw at the Eilan a month ago. This match has will now have a 2.30pm throw up. There is another all Premier League tie when Lochaber travel to Mossfield to play second placed league side Oban Camanachd. This match also throws up at 12 noon. There is a derby clash at An Aird between local rivals There is a National Premier League match rescheduled between Inveraray and Kingussie at The MacPhee & Partners MacAulay Cup commences and National Premier League side Glenurquhart host Lovat at Drum na Drochit. The Glen will want to get over the disappointment of last week’s extra time Camanachd Cup defeat to Kinlochshiel whilst Lovat will be looking for another top division scalp after last weeks cup win over Glenorchy. The Glen are boosted by the return of internationalist Eddie Tembo but they are still without long term injured players Aaron MacDonald and Paul MacKintosh. National Premier League side Glenorchy should be too strong for Marine South Division 1 side Kilmory when the sides meet at Dalmally.
