A rearranged Balliemore Cup tie and a North Division 2 match are the Skye Camanachd fixtures for Saturday 2 May 2009.

The Skye Camanachd first team travel to Battery Park to face Lochcarron in their rearranged first round match after the initial clash was postponed earlier in the season. Skye manager Angie Murchison will be looking for a winning start to his team's Balliemore Cup defence but he knows that his side will receive a tough test in this derby clash.

The match throws up at 2.30pm and will be refereed by John Sloggie.

The Skye Camanachd second team host Glengarry in North Division 2 at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree according to www.shinty,com.

The match was originally to take place at Invergarry but appears to have been switched to Portree by the Camanachd Association. Skye will seek clarification on this matter at the beginning of the week.

Glengarry are currently 3 places above Skye in the league, so the Islanders will be looking to improve their league standing. Glengarry have two wins. a draw and three defeats from their six North Division 2 matches so far this season.
