The Skye Camanachd website www.skyecamanachd.com has been nominated for an award.

The Highland Sports Development Association sought nominations for their 2008 Club of the Year Award.

The theme of this year's award is "Your Sports Club Website" and Skye Camanachd has been nominated by Skye & Lochalsh Sports Council.

Judging will look at a variety of criteria including websites that are; most informative, interesting, welcoming, most used and user friendly.

After an initial short-leeting process, three members of the HSDA Executive Committee will assess the nominations in more detail and may even contact or visit the short-leeted clubs.

The award is sponsored by Highlands & Islands Enterprise.
