| Nervous Wait For Scotland Managers. | |
| 10 October 2008 Scotland Managers Fraser MacKenzie and Donnie Martin face a nervous wait see if their squad players make it through this weekend's fixtures unscathed ahead of next weekend's shinty / hurling internationals . Senior squad players from the Marine Harvest Premier League such as Scott Campbell from Newtonmore, Lochaber's Sean Nicolson and Garry Innes. John MacDonald and Neil Robertson from Fort William and Ruairidh Graham from Inveraray will play for their club sides. Marine Harvest North Division 1 players such as Glenurquhart's quartet John Barr, Stuart MacKintosh, Eddie Tembo and Andrew Corrigan, all play as does Kilmallie hit-man John Stewart. The Scotland U21 side have similar worries including Mark Lawrie and Drew Ferguson from Fort William and Kilmallie duo Peter Carmichael and the skillful Michael Rodger all playing. Also in action on Saturday are Chris Crawford from Inveraray and Lewis MacLennan from Glenurquhart. Let's hope that all these players make it through their weekend fixtures unscathed. | |
