02 August 2008 The Skye Camanachd first team will want to build on their Balliemore Cup success when they travel to the Highland capital to face Inverness. Skye lost 3-1 to Inverness when the teams met in Portree on the first game of the season and they will be keen to avenge that result. Manager Ally Morrison hopes to have a full squad to pick from should Alan MacLeod, Steven Morrison and Ally MacLennan get through the North v South representative games unscathed. Skye are boosted by the return of Somhairle MacDonald from a family holiday in Canada. Skye second team manager Davie MacVicar will be away on business this weekend, so senior player Willie MacRae will look after the team for the home match against Glengarry. The teams drew 4-4 at Invergarry earlier in the season after Skye had led 3-1. Defender Neil John Campbell is a doubt after needing stitches on a leg knock picked up against Killmallie in Skye's last outing. |
