Scots Boost As Horgan Misses Second Test | |
23 October 2012 Scotland received a boost ahead of the Shinty / Hurling international second test against Ireland this weekend with the news that Cork’s Patrick Horgan will miss the game. Patrick Horgan was man of the match in the first test, scoring all but two of Ireland’s points in their 25-19 win at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 20 October 2012. However the good news could be short-lived for the Scots as the Irish are likely to call up another Hurling All-Star as a replacement. The points system means that Ireland currently lead 3-1. They gained two points for the win with each side gaining a bonus point for scoring at least two goals. The aggregate match score will only count if the points system finishes all square at 3-3 or 4-4.
