01 June 2021 This week’s Skye Camanachd fixtures have been confirmed. The Skye Camanachd first team were scheduled to play a Mowi Senior League A fixture against the Kilmallie first team at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 5 June 2021. However the match has been postponed because of covid restrictions in the Lochaber area. Skye instead will face Kinlochshiel at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree. ‘Shiel had been due to face Fort William at An Aird but that match was also called off because of covid restrictions in the Lochaber area. Throw up is at 2.30pm and Brian MacKay is the match referee. The whole match will be broadcast LIVE on Radio Skye’s “Camanachd LIVE” show from 2pm. The Skye Camanachd second team has a Mowi North League A meeting with Glengarry at Craigard on Saturday 5 June 2021. Throw up is at 2.30pm and Steven MacLachlan is the match referee. Skye Camanachd U17 do not have a fixture as the North MacTavish Juvenile Cup first round ties take place and the Islanders have a bye. Skye Camanachd U14 do not have a fixture as the MacMaster Cup first round ties take place and the Islanders have a bye. The Skye Camanachd primary school aged team has a Camanachd Association Cup tie away to the winners of the clash between the Inverness Girls and Glenurquhart with the match to take place before Sunday 6 June 2021. All matches will be played in accordance with the current restrictions which means supporters will not be permitted to attend. |
