The Skye Camanachd first team came from two goals to beat Caberfeidh 4-3 in their Marine Harvest Premiership meeting at Castle Leod on Saturday 29 September 2018. Kevin Bartlett on 25 minutes and Colin MacLeman a couple of minutes later had Cabers 2-0 ahead. James Pringle gave Skye hope when he pulled a goal back on the stroke of half-time. Skye’s Ruaraidh MacLeod equalised on 51 minutes and Will Cowie put Skye ahead for the first time in the game just 3 minutes later. James Pringle got his second to make it 4-2 on 59 minutes and although Kevin Bartlett got his second on 64 minutes, Skye earned the win. The Islanders had keeper Ryan Morrison to thank for twice saving a retaken Kevin Bartlett penalty and the top flight relegation battle now goes forward to the final game of the season. The Skye Camanachd second team lost 3-0 against their Fort William counter-parts in their final Marine Harvest North Division 1 fixture of the season at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 29 September 2018. Connor MacRae put the Fort ahead after just 2 minutes with Lewis Morrison getting a goal in each half to seal the win. The Skye Camanachd Ladies did not have a fixture. The Skye Camanachd Ladies second team did not have a game. The Skye Camanachd Ladies Development team were not in action. Skye Camanachd U17 have completed their London Shield programme and they are now waiting to see who they will face in the semi-finals. Skye Camanachd U14 did not have a match this week. |
