2018 Kilmallie Player of the Year Awards | |
01 November 2018 The Kilmallie player of the year awards were announced at the club’s annual Dinner Dance & Awards Night at the Moorings Hotel on Saturday 27 October 2018. The club were able to reflect on a season in which they won the Marine Harvest National Division and a return to shinty’s top flight as well as the Balliemore Cup. It was also a season following which Mark MacPherson was named Marine Harvest National Division manager of the year with club captain Liam MacDonald collecting the player National Division accolade. Manager Mark MacPherson has recently stepped down and his service to the club over the last four seasons was marked as he was given a black presentation caman and a team photograph whilst his wife Lynsey received a well-deserved bouquet of flowers.
