Innes Simpson Joins Allan MacLeod In Inverness Hot-Seat | |
09 July 2014 Innes Simpson has joined Allan MacLeod running the Inverness first team for the rest of this season. Former Beauly player Innes Simpson had a previous spell as assistant manager to Callum Duff at Strathglass but this is his first co-manager role. The Marine Harvest North Division 1 side are currently just over half-way through their league programme but they currently sit second bottom of the table with only four points from the eight games played. Innes Simpson’s first game in his new role was the 4-1 defeat to Strathglass at the Bught Park last weekend. Strathglass, coincidently, were also without a first team boss as Callum Duff stood down from that position last week. Club stalwart Roy MacKenzie and a couple of the senior players took charge of the Cannich side. |
