01 March 2016 Everyone at Skye Camanachd would like to pass on their condolences to Newtonmore first team manager Paul John MacKintosh and his family on the passing of his wife Carole MacKintosh. Carole passed away at the family home in Strone Road, Newtonmore on the evening of Saturday 27 February 2016. She was 51 and had been ill for some time. Carole leaves two sons, Paul and Blair, and a daughter Melanie and her grandchildren. Carole was originally from Bournemouth but had lived in Newtonmore for more than thirty years. Newtonmore Camanachd Club President Norman MacArthur said, “Carole’s passing has cast a shadow over the village. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Paul John and the rest of the family”. Newtonmore’s first and second team matches against Kinlochshiel have been postponed this weekend. Carole’s funeral will take place on Saturday 5 March 2016 at 10.30am at St Bride’s Church, Newtonmore and thereafter to Banchor Cemetery. |
