23 April 2015 Portree High School and Plockton High School secured a win apiece as both their boys and girls teams met in Plockton on Wednesday 22 April 2015.
Plockton High School 3 Portree High School 0 Plockton High School lifted the Sorley MacLean Quaich with a 3-0 win over Portree High School. Portree went into the match as holders, having retained the trophy in Portree a year earlier following a penalty shoot-out. Portree’s Stewart Taylor suffered a broken hand in the match whilst Ruairidh MacLeod received a broken thumb. Duncan Wood was the third Portree player to require hospital treatment.
Plockton High School Girls 0 Portree High School Girls 7 Portree High School Girls retained the Cuach Sgathaich.with a convincing 7-0 victory over Plockton High Schools Girls’ Anna MacDonald scored five times for Portree with Abbey MacLean and Fiona Lamond getting the others. Plockton had chances but they were unable to find a way past Portree keeper Nicole MacRae. Anna MacDonald was deservedly awarded Player of the Match Portree's Anna MacDonald was not surprisingly named Portree player of the match. |
