Camanachd Association Invites Applications For Scotland Head Coach. | |
11 February 2010 The Camanachd Association is seeking applications for the position of Scotland senior Head Coach ahead of the 2010 Shinty / Hurling international against Ireland. The coach will be responsible for the selection and preparation of the Senior National Squad for the annual Shinty / Hurling International against Ireland at Croke Park, Dublin on Saturday 30 October 2010 and could also include the proposed meeting between the sides in Inverness 2 weeks later. The position is for 2 years so as to bring it into line with appointed assistant coach positions. The position has become vacant following Fraser Mackenzie’s departure at the end of last season. Current Scotland Assistant Head Coach Drew McNeill and former Kingussie manager Jimmy Gow would be leading candidates for the role.
