Skye Camanachd U17 2 Kingussie U17 0
Skye Camanachd U17 and Kingussie U17 met in what was to prove to be tousy semi final battle at Invergarry.
Skye took a first half lead when a Steven Morrison shot was saved but Keith MacKenzie, playing in the forward line, reacted first to net the rebound.
Jamie Beaton made it 2-0 just 8 minutes into the second period. Beaton lashed the ball into the net following a great Skye move involving captain Allan MacLeod, John Murphy and Ruairidh MacLeod.
Paul Gow scored a late consolation goal for Kingussie.
There were several flashpoints during the game as tempers flared. Kingussie had 5 players booked whilst one Skye player was cautioned.
Skye now had a WJ Cameron Final against Beauly – who had won the other semi final - at Lochcarron to look forward to.
It was a second semi final loss for Kingussie who also went down in the semi final of the MacTavish Juvenile Cup when they lost 4-3 to Kilmallie.
