Skye Camanachd Second Team Fix Up Inverness Friendly | |
02 December 2012 The Skye Camanachd second team will play an Inverness side as part of their pre-season programme ahead of the start of the new shinty season. Skye second team manager Murdo Morrison made contact with Inverness boss Callum McLeod, a former colleague when they were both in the police, and MacLeod has promised to take an Inverness side to Portree on Saturday 9 February 2013. The Skye reserve team are also looking to travel to Shawbost to play Lewis Camanachd as they did last pre-season but the actual date for their meeting has yet to be confirmed. Other first and second team fixtures are currently being arranged. Skye Camanachd’s pre-season programme so far is as follows; Saturday 2 February 2013 The Annual Ewen Morrison Memorial Cup match between North Skye and South Skye will take place at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree. Saturday 9 February 2013 The Skye Camanachd first team travel to An Aird to play Orion Group Premiership side Fort William. The Skye Camanachd second team host an Inverness side at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree. Saturday 16 February 2013 The Skye Camanachd first and second teams are currently arranging fixtures for this date.
