02 December 2012 Skye Camanachd added three new Vice Presidents at the club’s Annual General Meeting at the Skye Camanachd Clubhouse on Thursday 29 November 2012. The role of Skye Camanachd Vice President is a honourary position granted to those who have made a significant contribution to the club over many years. Former player and manager Andy MacPherson gave great service to the club over a number of years and this was recognised by all those present at the AGM. He is a regular at Skye games and his late mother Mrs Margaret MacPherson was once the Skye Camanachd Chieftain and Vice President. Tommy MacKenzie is a former committee member who never misses a game in Portree. He has been a regular contributor to club funds over the years. His late father Jonacks MacKenzie was a notable player, committee member and Vice President for the Islanders and Tommy’s son John MacKenzie is a regular in the Skye Camanachd second team squad. John Angus MacPherson is another fervent supporter of the club and his contribution has also been acknowledged with a Vice Presidency.
