The Ireland and Scotland senior teams meet in the Shinty / Hurling international second test at Cusack Park, Clare on Saturday 27 October 2012.

Scotland trail 3-1 from the first test in Inverness last weekend. The Irish picked up two points for winning the game (3-10) 25-19 (2-9) whilst each side gained a bonus point for scoring at least two goals. The throw-in is at 2.05pm and you can watch the whole match live on BBC Alba (Sky channel 160 / Freeview Channel 8 in Scotland / Freesat Channel 110) from 2pm and the game will also be broadcast over the internet by Irish channel TG4 .

Earlier in the day, the Clare and Scotland Women’s teams have a Shinty / Camogie meeting at the Father McNamara Camogie Field, County Clare. The throw-in for this one is at 11am.

The Ireland U21 and Scotland U21 sides met under the floodlights at St. Josephs Doora Barefield, Ennis on Friday 26 October 2012. The Scots led (1-4) 9-8 (1-3) at the interval but the Irish eventually ran out (3-8) 23-19 (2-9) winners. Ben Delaney and Greg Matheson got the Scotland goals.
