Also in attendance for the draw were Camanachd Association President Steven MacKenzie, Tulloch Homes Managing Director Sandy Grant and Innes Smith who is the Springfield Properties CEO.
The first round ties take place on Saturday 16 April 2022 and the draw is as follows:

Inverness v Strathglass
Glengarry v Beauly
South Section

Byes: Inveraray, Bute
Steven MacKenzie said: “It was my pleasure to be at the draw alongside Sandy and Innes and the gents from Peat & Diesel. This year’s final is sure to be an extra special occasion given the associated entertainment in the run up to and after the final.
“I know the whole shinty community will extend their gratitude to Tulloch Homes for making the magic of the Camanachd Cup possible.”
Sandy Grant said: "It was a morale-booster for the sport to have the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final successfully completed last year with Kinlochshiel making history.
"We're delighted to continue our sponsorship of shinty's Blue Riband competition against a backdrop of the return of top league action for the first time since 2019.
“Kingussie will be this year's hosts at The Dell in September and this opening ballot injects momentum into what seems to be a wide open contest as to which two teams will reach the final.
"Good luck to all the competing teams for a tournament to remember in shinty's full comeback season."
