Camanachd Association CEO Derek Keir said: ““It was a real pleasure to invite our sponsors to the disability festival this afternoon. It is one of the real shining lights of the shinty calendar as we are able to offer out opportunities to compete in Scotland’s community sport to traditionally underrepresented members of our community. My thanks, as ever, go to the sponsors for making all that we do a reality.” Tulloch Homes Managing Director Sandy Grant added: “The top teams have now entered the ballot, the ties are spicy and the race gathers pace to reach the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final at Kingussie in September. “The 126th final of this historic tournament should be a fascinating one and we’re excited and delighted to continue our sponsorship of shinty’s most celebrated competition, deepening the Tulloch connection with many people and communities at the heart of this ancient game. “Having won it so splendidly for the first time, Kinlochshiel will be keen to retain the trophy but five or six other teams will fancy their chances of wresting it from them. “The stage is set for dramatic second round action.” |
