Skye Camanachd U17 6 Caberfeidh U17 2 | |
27 September 2021 Skye Camanachd U17 came from 2-1 down to beat Caberfeidh U17 6-2 in their London Shield match at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 25 September 2021. Skye coaches Donnie Martin and Calum Matheson were missing Lachlan MacPherson. Caberfeidh coach Andy Coleman was hit with a couple early morning call-offs so an already understrength squad travelled for this noon throw up with just eleven players. Skye took the lead in the opening minute, striking before the visitors had time to settle, but they turned the match in their favour with Hamish Alliston scoring twice. The match was level at 2-2 after half an hour with the Islanders going in front on the stroke of half-time. Skye stamped their authority of the match in the second half and Taylor Matheson’s brace and goals from Archie Millar, Jamie Ross, Calum Gillies and Brodie MacQueen meant they ran out 6-2 winners.
