10 August 2017 Skye Camanachd U17 lost 1-0 in their London Shield match against Fort William U17 at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Tuesday 8 August 2017. Skye Camanachd U17 Head Coach Davie Pringle was missing seven players for this 6.30pm throw up, mainly through injury, with Ruaraidh MacLeod, Jamie Gillies, William MacKinnon, Ross Gordon, Daniel MacDonald, Gilleasbuig MacVicar and Ryan Macaskill all out. Fort William travelled without injured captain Seamus Gall and Ewan Easson. Fort William’s Victor Smith scored the only goal of the game after 61 minutes. The winning margin could have been bigger had it not been for a couple of remarkable saves from home goalie Murphy Henderson.
