01 June 2018 Skye Camanachd U14 lost 5-0 to Beauly U14 in their MacMaster Cup second round tie at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Friday 1 June 2018. Archie Millar returned to the squad for this 7pm throw up after recovering from a hand injury. There was also a place for his North End primary school side team-mate Cameron Long. Beauly made a good start and Farquhar MacRae latched onto a ball from midfield and he fired low into the net. Finlay MacLennan made it 2-0 with another good finish and they took that lead into the break. Skye needed to score next but it was Farquhar MacRae who got his second to make it 3-0. Finlay MacLennan went on to complete his hat-trick with two more goals. Beauly played well, with Callum MacIver turning in a terrific performance and Euan MacCormick also impressing, and they deserve their place in the semi-finals.
