27 August 2022 This week’s Skye Camanachd results are in! The Skye Camanachd first team were 7-0 winners in their Mowi National Division match against the Oban Celtic first team at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 27 August 2022. All the goals came in the first half with Jordan Murchison scoring four times, Somhairle MacDonald twice and Ross MacKinnon the other with a glorious drive high into the net from midway through the opposing half. Skye are now two points off the top of the table with a game in hand. The Skye Camanachd second team had hoped to meet the Kinlochshiel second team in their Mowi North Division 1 match at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Friday 26 August 2022 but the game will be rescheduled. Skye Camanachd A were without a WCA fixture. Skye Camanachd B were without a WCA fixture. Skye Camanachd under-17 did not have a fixture. Skye Camanachd under-14 came from a goal down to beat Glenurquhart under-14 5-1 in their MacMaster Cup semi-final at Rèaraig on Friday 26 August 2022. Alfie MacLeod gave the Glen a 18 minute lead but Calum MacKenzie levelled on 25 minutes to make it 1-1 at the break. Skye were excellent in the second half and Oliver Langlands struck twice in quick succession on 39 and 40 minutes before Rylie Anderson on 44 minutes and Brody MacQueen on 63 minutes made the final score 5-1.
