03 September 2022 This week’s Skye Camanachd results are in! The Skye Camanachd first team did not have a fixture. The Skye Camanachd second team lost 3-0 against the Glenurquhart second team in their Mowi North Division 1 match at Blairbeg on Saturday 3 September 2022. Skye Camanachd fought all the way before eventually going down 6-3 to Badenoch in the Mowi Valerie Fraser Camanachd Cup Final at the Eilan on Saturday 3 September 2022. Badenoch led three times through Kirsty Deans but were pulled back on each occasion through Holly MacLean, Caitlin MacLean and Holly MacLean again. Two more goals from Kirsty Deans and Zoe Reid’s injury time effort gave Badenoch a 6-3 winning margin. An outstanding display in goal earned Skye keeper Sarah-Jane Ferguson the player of the match accolade. Skye Camanachd B were without a WCA fixture. Skye Camanachd under-17 did not have a fixture. Skye Camanachd under-14 were 6-0 winners in their Mowi North of Scotland Division 1 (Phase 2) match against Inverness under-14 at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Friday 2 September 2022. Oliver Langlands put Skye ahead before going on to complete his hat-trick. Brody MacQueen scored twice with Constance Reid getting the other.
