Skye Camanachd are through to Monday’s Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup quarter-final draw after they beat Kingussie 2-1 at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 27 May 2017. Early goals from Jordan Murchison and Will Cowie had Skye 2-0 ahead before Savio Genini’s late penalty. The Skye Camanachd second team beat the Glenurquhart second team 2-0 in their Marine Harvest North Division 1 encounter at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 27 May 2017. John Angus MacInnes and Connor Gilpin got the goals that made the difference. The Marine Harvest National Division 1 match between the Skye Camanachd Ladies and the Lovat Ladies at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 27 May 2017 was postponed. Lovat were unable to raise a team so they have been deducted a point and the match will be rescheduled for a later date. Skye Camanachd U17 beat Strathglass U17 10-0 in their London Shield match at Cannich on Tuesday 23 May 2017. Ruaraidh MacLeod and Daniel MacDonald notched hat-tricks, Stewart Taylor scored twice whilst Ross Gordon and Gilleasbuig MacVicar got the others. The Skye Camanachd B U17 development squad were to have a Development League meeting with Caberfeidh U17 at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Tuesday 23 May 2017 but the match will now be rescheduled. Three late goals gave Kinlochshiel U14 a 6-3 win over Skye Camanachd U14 in their Marine Harvest North League – Section C match at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Friday 26 May 2017. Jamie MacKinnon, Calum MacKay and Lewis MacLeod all scored for Skye whilst doubled from Arran Jack and Archie MacRae and goals from Sam Stubbs and Ciaran Kellet gave ‘Shiel the win. |
