This week’s Skye Camanachd results are in ……..

The Skye Camanachd first team lost 2-0 to their Glasgow Mid Argyll counter-parts in the Balliemore Cup first round at Yoker on Saturday 27 April 2019. Calum McLay and Oliver MacRae got the goals.   

The Skye Camanachd seconds had a Mowi North Division 1 match against the Inverness first team at the Bught Park Saturday 27 April 2019. The Skye colts earned a creditable 3-3 draw with Ruaraidh MacLeod scoring twice, either side of Daniel Morrison’s strike, with Charlie MacDonald grabbing an Inverness hat-trick.

The Skye Camanachd Ladies were 17-0 winners in their Mowi Valerie Fraser Camanachd Cup quarter-final tie against Ardnamurchan Ladies at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree. Caitlin MacLean (1) Lorna MacRae (9) Jenna Beaton (1) Sarah Corrigall (4), Holly MacPhee (1) and Christina MacDonald (1) got the goals.

The Skye Camanachd Ladies second team beat Glengarry Ladies 4-1 in their Mowi North Division 2 clash at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 27 April 2019. Abby MacLean scored all four Skye goals whilst Emily Gordon countered.  

Skye Camanachd U17 began their Mowi London Shield campaign with a 7-1 National League D win over Kinlochshiel U17 at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Tuesday 23 April 2019. Leonna Falconer scored twice and Ross Gordon scored four times for Skye with Ross MacKinnon getting the other.

Skye Camanachd U14 opened their Mowi North of Scotland League C programme, going down 9-5 against Kinlochshiel U14 at Kirkton on Friday 26 April 2019. Calum Gillies and Archie Millar both bagged Skye doubles with Jamie Ross getting the other.
