Skye Camanachd collected no fewer than six accolades at the 2015 Marine Harvest Awards at the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness on Friday 23 October 2015.
Skye Camanachd were named 2015 Marine Harvest Club of the Year for the second successive year. Amongst their successes, both the Skye Camanachd first and second teams won their respective leagues with the Skye Camanachd U14 side finishing MacMaster Cup runners-up.
Skye Camanachd first team forward Jordan Murchison was named 2015 Marine Harvest National Division Player of the Year. Murchison scored 32 goals during the season and he has been named in the Scotland U21 squad to play Ireland U21 this Saturday.
Skye Camanachd first team manager John MacLeod was named Marine Harvest National Division Manager of the Year. MacLeod led his team to their second successive league title which means they will play in the Marine Harvest Premiership next season for the first time since 2002. The team remained unbeaten in the league during this two year period, only drawing two matches.
Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie Pringle was named Marine Harvest North Division 2 Manager of the Year. He has moulded together a successful side which is a mixture of youth and experience and they were also crowned league champions, winning promotion to Marine Harvest North Division 1.
Skye Camanachd Ladies player Emma Gordon was named Marine Harvest National Division 1 Player of the Year. The 15 year old has had a terrific season for the Skye Ladies and was named player of the match in the recent North v South encounter. She will also line up with the Scotland Ladies against Kildare Ladies this weekend.
To round of the haul, Marion Gillies from the Skye Camanachd Ladies was named WCA Volunteer of the Year for all her sterling work for the association.
