24 June 2019 The Skye Camanachd second team lost 2-0 against the Fort William second team in their Mowi North Division 1 match at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 22 June 2019. Skye keeper Murphy Henderson was unavailable so David Grant took over in goal. Calum Robertson and Marcus Scott returned to the side. Grant Disher and Davie Duncan were both suspended for Fort William. Fort William’s Grant Disher completed a two-game suspension whilst Davie Duncan began a two-game ban. However the Fort included former Kinlochshiel player Duncan MacMillan. Neil Clark put Fort William ahead on 5 minutes when he rifled the ball home from the right of the D with Hamish Shaw and Paul Paterson involved in the lead-up. Cal Brown added a second on 19 minutes, punishing Skye for not clearing their lines after David Grant had saved with his feet. Fort keeper Stuart Disher saved with his feet to deny Taylor Matheson late in the half. The closest Skye came to a goal was a second half strike from substitute Keith MacKenzie which hit the side-netting. Skye keeper David Grant stretched high to make a terrific save with his caman, denying Cal Brown a third Fort goal.
