Lovat Complete Cycle Fund Raiser | |
07 August 2017 Members from Lovat Shinty Club have completed a 400 mile fund raising cycle around all ten Marine Harvest Premiership shinty clubs. The Lovat cyclists, led by manager Fraser Gallacher who was joined by first team players Stuart MacDonald, Drew Howie, Daniel Grieve, Callum Cruden and Greg Matheson and they held a penalty shoot-out at each pitch. Lovat won all the penalty shoot-outs except against Oban Camanachd who beat them at Mossfield. The players were greeted at the near-by Belladrum Music Festival main stage after completing the challenge on their home turf at Balgate. All proceeds from this mammoth challenge will be split between Highland Hospice and the Lovat Shinty Club New Community Clubhouse Fund as they try to reach their £10,000 target.
