Laura McCafferty Continues As Scotland Ladies Captain For Shinty / Camogie Clash | |
19 October 2015 Glasgow Mid Argyll’s Laura McCafferty will continue as Scotland Ladies captain for the Shinty / Camogie encounter with Kildare Ladies at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 24 October 2015. Laura McCafferty has captained the Scots to wins over Dublin in 2013 and Down last year and she is a key member of the side. She also won the double – Marine Harvest National Division 1 title and Valerie Fraser Cup – with her club side, GMA in 2015. “Laura has won two out of two games as Scotland captain,” said Scotland Head Coach Stuart Reid. “She is a good leader and we are fortunate this year to have her and a few other leaders within the squad. As well as Laura, the likes of Sarah Corrigall, Katie Drain and Alana McGarrie are all players who are very vocal and who help out their younger team-mates.”

Prices are £10 Adults / £5 Concession / U12s go FREE when accompanied by a paying adult. Discounts are available to Camanachd Association members.
