Kinlochshiel AGM | |
15 January 2018 Kinlochshiel hold their Annual General Meeting at Dornie Hall on Friday 19 January 2018. The meeting starts at 7.30pm and the club can reflect on a successful season when they lifted the Marine Harvest Premiership title for the first time. There will be changes off the field as stalwarts Albert Loades and John MacDougall both stepped down from their Director roles. The club has also been holding taster sessions for ladies players at the Plockton High School astro pitch. The sessions are aimed at ladies players aged over 12 years and the initial gathering last Saturday attracted twenty-six players. The next session takes place on Tuesday 23 January 2018 between 7pm and 8.30pm. There has also been a session set for on Saturday 3 February 2018 between 11am and 1pm. The club has been working hard to put in place the processes for establishing a ladies team. Based on the number of women who registered an interest to play for Kinlochshiel Ladies and, with support and guidance from Katie Drain from the Camanachd Association, the club intends to register a team for inclusion in the Women’s Camanachd Association Marine Harvest North Division 2 as well as another team into the Development League for the upcoming 2018 shinty season. |
