James MacKay & Calum MacKay Are Joint 2015 Skye Camanachd B U14 Most Improved Player of the Year | |
11 December 2015 Twin brothers James MacKay and Calum MacKay were named joint Skye Camanachd B U14 2015 Most Improved Players of the Year at the club’s Annual Dinner Dance at the Skye Camanachd Clubhouse on Saturday 21 November 2015. It’s not often that Skye Camanachd have had a set of twin brothers in their ranks and James MacKay and Calum MacKay have both caught the coaches’ eyes this season. Skye Camanachd Youth Coach John MacLeod said, “This year’s award is to be shared by twin brothers James and Calum MacKay from the Waternish area. Their attitude to all aspects of U14 shinty has been excellent this season. They have mostly played in the B team this year and have made a significant contribution all round. James and Calum might be similar in looks but they very much have their own individual styles of play. They are very enthusiastic players who are great prospects for the future.”
