19 May 2015 Skye Camanachd U17 got their season off to a winning start when they beat Glenurquhart U17 2-0 in their London Shield meeting at Blairbeg on Tuesday 12 May 2015. Skye Camanachd U17 Youth Coach Davie Pringle was without the injured Ruairidh MacLeod and Stewart Taylor. The Glen were missing the suspended Lachlan Smith for this 6.30pm throw up. After a goalless first half, John Gillies gave Skye a 48 minute lead. Sean MacCallum made it 2-0 just 3 minutes later. Glenurquhart’s Jamie MacLennan was sent off with 10 minutes remaining. John Gillies, James Pringle and Ross Nicolson were the pick of the Skye players who all turned in a very impressive performance.
